Contango Capital Advisors Inc. of Berkeley, Calif., Zions Bancorp.'s wealth management subsidiary, announced Wednesday that George Feiger, Contango's founder and chief executive officer, has been named the chairman of its investment committee.
In the newly created position, Mr. Feiger will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Contango's investment strategies.
On the investment committee, Mr. Feiger will work with Milton Balbuena and Perry Piazza, Contango's co-chief investment strategists, and Richard Long, its research manager and head of portfolio implementation.
Contango says that its strategy is to focus on individuals' real-life goals and use analytical techniques and risk management tools to design clients' investment portfolios.
