The seven-person team, led by Richard S. Zinman and Anthony A. Dertouzos, have joined the New York office of Credit Suisse's Private Banking USA, the company said on Monday.

Mr. Zinman has consistently ranked in the Top 10 of financial advisers in the United States, according to the Barron's annual survey; he placed third in 2007. In the same year, On Wall Street, a SourceMedia Inc. magazine, recognized Mr. Dertouzos as sixth in its annual ranking of "top advisers under 40."

Mr. Zinman joined Citigroup in 2001 and formed a team at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. to serve high-net-worth clients. He has worked in financial services since 1982. Before Citigroup he was a managing director at Banc of America Securities, a unit of Bank of America Corp.

Mr. Dertouzos began his career in private-client services at Banc of America Securities. On Mr. Zinman's team he advised high-net-worth individual investors and families. In 2001, when Mr. Zinman's team moved its practice to Citigroup, Mr. Dertouzos became a managing director of wealth management.

Credit Suisse's Private Banking USA group has 16 offices.
