Curian Capital LLC of Denver, a registered investment advisory unit of Prudential PLC of London, hired Kevin Ramsier as divisional vice president for the West region.
Mr. Ramsier, 37, will manage a team of Curian's regional business consultants and run distribution in 26 states, Curian said Monday.
He had worked for Invesco Aim Management Group Inc. for 12 years, most recently as a regional sales manager. Before that he was a marketing director for SunAmerica.
Curian announced last month that it would expand its distribution team by adding 10 external regional business consultants and 10 internal regional business consultants and by hiring a new divisional vice president.
The firm maaged $3.2 billion of assets as of Sept. 30.
