DWS Investments Americas, the U.S. retail unit of Deutsche Bank AG's asset management division, has hired Thomas A. Jones as a director and head of national accounts management for its broker-dealer division in New York.
He will manage six client relationship management officers and look to expand the DWS distribution platform. He reports to Mark Perrelli, a director and national sales manager in the New York broker-dealer division.
Mr. Jones was a managing director and senior relationship manager at Putnam Investments in Boston. Before that he was a vice president of business development for Citizens Bank Private Bank and Trust.
DWS Investments announced the hiring Monday. As of Sept. 30 itwas managing more than $115 billion of retail and retirement assets in more than 135 mutual funds and variable insurance portfolios.
