Dynamic Card Solutions LLC of Englewood, Colo., said Tuesday that it has integrated its CardWizard instant card-issuing system with the card management software that S1 Corp. offers through its Postilion.
The two companies said they plan to market their offerings jointly, focusing on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Dynamic, whose systems let financial companies produce customized cards at their branches, has said giving customers their debit cards when they open a bank account can increase activation rates and drive up transaction volume, compared to mailing the cards to new customers.
S1’s Postilion for Card Issuers software helps issuers manage the entire life cycle of cards, including creating accounts, activating cards, and complying with various regulations.
It works with contactless cards and those that adhere to the Europay, MasterCard, Visa security standard.
Mark McMurtrie, the marketing director for Postilion’s international operations, said in a Dynamic press release that combining his company’s software with the instant-issuing system “can support card issuers with customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio profitability.”
