Empower Federal Credit Union of Syracuse, N.Y., is using a secure document signing technology from Integrated Media Management.
It is using the Linden, N.J., vendor's TotaleAtlasWeb product, which automatically sends, archives and indexes documents in Empower's imaging system.
The vendor said this process reduces typing errors and increases productivity.
Members can then view documents within their online banking view.
"As we transitioned from an open-end to a close-end lending environment, incorporating digital signatures has really offset the additional traffic that our branches would otherwise incur, not to mention the added manual work for employees," Kevin Peterson, Empower's vice president of consumer lending, said in a press release Tuesday.
