ETF from iShares Tied to East Europe Index

Barlcays Global Investors' iShares unit, the largest provider of exchange-traded funds, launched an emerging-markets Eastern Europe ETF.

The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Eastern Europe Index Fund, introduced last week, tracks the MSCI Emerging Markets Eastern Europe Index, a free float-adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure equity market performance in four emerging-market countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Russia. The fund's annual expense ratio is 0.72%.

Barclays Global Investors, a unit of London-based Barclays PLC, has more than 2,900 institutional clients and had $1.7 trillion of assets under management at June 30.
