MB Financial Bank of Chicago has hired John Jolly as its senior vice president of commercial banking.

Mr. Jolly held a similar position at his previous employer, JPMorgan Chase & Co. He had worked for Chase Bank since 1995, starting as a credit analyst for commercial banking.

MB Financial has $8.3 billion of assets.


MIDDLE ATLANTICFarmers National Bank of Emlenton in Pennsylvania has hired Eric P. Smeltzer as its vice president and treasurer.

Mr. Smeltzer had been the chief financial officer since 2006 at BNK Advisory Group Inc. He joined BNK as a financial and operations principal in 2005. Earlier he worked for NorthSide Bank.

Farmers National has $332 million of assets.

 


 First Keystone Financial Inc. of Media, Pa., has hired Hugh Garchinsky as its senior vice president and chief financial officer and for the same positions at First Keystone Bank.

Mr. Garchinsky had been the president of the Peoples division at National Penn Bank, which bought Peoples Bank of Oxford in 2004. He had been the president and chief executive at Peoples Bank of Oxford since 2000, and worked there since 1992.

First Keystone has $517 million of assets.


WESTPacific Coast Bankers' Bank of San Francisco has hired William Pollard as its first vice president and regional lending manager for Southern California.

Mr. Pollard was a senior vice president and the senior credit administrator for Vineyard Bank in Corona. Before that he was a vice president at California Bank and Trust.

Pacific Coast has $503 million of assets.

 


 Security Pacific Bank of Los Angeles has hired Tony Feraro as its president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Feraro was the CEO and a director of Silvergate Bank in La Jolla, Calif. Before that he had been the CEO of Unity Bank in New Jersey and of CMA Mortgage Corp. in Indiana.

Earlier he was a senior vice president at Zions First National Bank.

Security Pacific has $587 million of assets.

 


 Old Republic Title Insurance Group of Oakland, Calif., has elected Martin Strelecky as the vice president of Old Republic National Title and Settlement Services.

Mr. Strelecky was a vice president and manager of national commercial services at LandAmerica National Commercial Services in Seattle, a subsidiary of LandAmerica Financial Holdings Inc.

Before that he was the senior vice president of commercial services for the Northwest region, which included Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Old Republic has $13.1 billion of assets.

 


 Hanmi Financial Corp. of Los Angeles has hired John Park as its executive vice president and chief credit officer.

He was an executive vice president and the chief credit officer at Gateway Business Bank in Cerritos, Calif. He began his banking career in 1976 in the California State Banking Department.

Hanmi has $3.8 billion of assets.

 


 Umpqua Holdings Corp. of Portland, Ore., has hired Roger Bishop as its chief information officer.

Mr. Bishop was the executive vice president and director of banking and technology for Riverside Bank in Florida. Before that he worked for Barnett Banks of Florida.

Umpqua has $8.3 billion of assets.
