Fair Isaac Corp. said Friday that it has appointed John Chen as its managing director in China.

Chen has worked for Fair Isaac since 2000 and was most recently its head of sales in China, having moved to the country from the U.S. in 2004. For the past six months, Chen has been Fair Isaac's acting managing director in China. Fair Isaac is based in Minneapolis.
"We're committed to being a trusted advisor to our clients, from the major banks that we work with in China today to the smaller banks and insurers we're beginning to serve," said Chen in a press release.
