Federated Investors Inc., a Pittsburgh investment manager, said that it had introduced a fund that invests in the securities of undervalued companies that pay above-average dividends.
The Federated International Strategic Value Fund was started Tuesday. It will invest most of its assets in foreign securities, primarily those in developed markets including the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
The international strategic value fund is to be sold through broker-dealers, bank broker-dealers, and other financial intermediaries.
