Fidelity National Of Georgia Hires KeyCorp Exec As Bank CEO

Fidelity National Corp., Atlanta, has hired KeyCorp executive Larry Peterson as president and chief executive officer of its Fidelity National Bank.

He succeeded Jim Miller, who remains chairman and CEO of the $613 million-asset holding company. Clyde Shepherd Jr., the bank's chairman, is expected to retire in April.

Mr. Peterson, who was also elected a director of Fidelity National Corp., was a senior vice president at KeyCorp in charge of its mass-market customer base-people under 50 making less than $99,000.

Earlier he was president and CEO of Ameritrust Indiana Corp., Cleveland, which KeyCorp bought in 1992.
