WASHINGTON — The fintech firm Intrafi has added Brian Argrett, the chief executive of City First Bank, and Erica Bovenzi, former deputy counsel at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., to its board.

The two sit on the board of Intrafi, which provides cash and liquidity management solutions to financial firms, alongside 12 other members, including Camden Fine, former CEO of the Independent Community Bankers of America, and Edward Yingling, former CEO of the American Bankers Association.

Fintech Intrafi has added another high-profile former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. staffer to its ranks after acquiring managing director Dianne Ellis in June.

Argrett currently leads City First Bank, the largest Black-led minority depository institution in the country, and its parent company, Broadway Financial Corp. He said in a statement that the Washington-based City First has been a "longtime user" of IntraFi.

Bovenzi served as deputy general counsel of the FDIC for 15 years. She also worked as chief administrative officer for Promontory Financial Group, and more recently co-founded the Bovenzi Group, a boutique consulting firm.

This is IntraFi's second big personnel announcement from the FDIC. The firm recently hired Diane Ellis, a 34-year veteran of the agency, as a senior managing director to help "to lead new initiatives under development."
