Brown & Brown Inc., an asset manager in Daytona Beach, Fla., has bought Stewart & Tunno Insurance Agency Inc., a Portland, Ore., firm that focuses on property and casualty insurance for individuals and businesses.
Eleanor Procter, Ronald J. Manza, Colleen Thomas, and their staff at Stewart & Tunno will combine their operations with those of Brown & Brown's Portland office under the leadership of Tim Nielsen, Brown & Brown said in Monday's announcement of the acquisition.
The price was not disclosed. Brown & Brown said Stewart & Tunno has annual revenue of $1.8 million.
Brown & Brown and its subsidiaries offer insurance and reinsurance products and services as well as risk management, third-party administration, managed health care, and Medicare set-aside services and programs.
