Genworth Financial Inc. has a new product called RetireReady IRA Annuity that it says combines the traditional benefits of an individual retirement account with the ability to provide a guaranteed income stream, the Richmond, Va., company said Monday.
It will be sold through all major financial advisory distribution channels.
The IRA Annuity includes 57 funds from 26 fund managers.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
