Hire, Promotions at Northern Trust Unit

Northern Trust Corp. announced that it has added three executives to expand its defined contribution team at Northern Trust Global Investments.

James Danaher, with 15 years of defined contribution consulting experience, has joined the Chicago company from Aon Investment Consulting as director of defined contribution solutions. He will focus on developing and marketing products for defined contribution retirement plans.

Brian Bursua was promoted to the new position of account manager for third-party defined contribution relationships. He will coordinate relationships with record keepers and administrators to increase product breadth and develop new business. He had been a member of Northern Trust's adviser consulting group.

John LaBelle was promoted to the post of defined contribution client solutions strategist, in charge of record-keeper platform coordination, including facilitating client/record-keeper migrations.

Mr. LaBelle began his career with Northern Trust's custody group as a record keeper relationship consultant, and most recently was a product consultant within the daily valuation servicing group. Before joining Northern Trust he was an operations analyst with ADP Retirement Services and an investments associate with Bisys Plan Services.

Northern Trust Global Investments, which announced the personnel moves Wednesday, is the multiasset class investment management unit of Northern Trust. The parent had $4.1 trillion of assets under custody and $757.2 billion of assets under management on Dec. 31.
