VANCOUVER, Canada Credit Union Central of British Columbia has signed a letter of intent to offer an enhanced online payment system to its member credit unions and their individual members who use hyperWALLET electronic wallets from Twin Lion Systems Inc., also of Vancouver.
Central, which serves 70 credit unions in British Columbia, has been supplying a basic e-mail person-to-person transaction system since November.
The enhanced service is to give members of participating credit unions direct access to hyperWALLET through their credit union Internet banking sites. Integration of the hyperWALLET system with the credit unions remote banking services would be done in coming weeks.
