The Federal Reserve Board said Wednesday that it will hold a public hearing Tuesday on an enforcement action against Guillaume Henri Fonkenell, a former Bankers Trust Co. trader.

The Fed alleges that Mr. Fonkenell knowingly and recklessly breached his fiduciary duties and violated federal laws in 1993-94 when he marketed and sold leveraged derivative products.

The hearing will determine whether a cease-and-desist order should be issued against Mr. Fonkenell and whether he should be forced to pay a civil penalty.
