LAKE MARY, Fla. - Fiserv Inc.'s processing subsidiary is offering software by the credit bureau Experian Inc. to its credit card-issuing customers.
This month Fiserv described Experian's Probe SM, which it will include with its processing services, as a tool to help issuers with tasks such as managing risk in their portfolios.
Issuers can apply the software to their authorization, collection, and marketing practices and can use it to set credit limits, Fiserv said.
The company, whose clients include Dell Financial Services, John Deere Credit USA, and Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, says it processes transactions for "millions of card accounts" a year.
