Gamco Investors Inc. said Thursday that it had hired Agnes Mullady, the chief financial officer at U.S. Trust Co.'s Excelsior Funds, to be CFO of Gabelli Funds LLC, its mutual funds division.
Ms. Mullady was a senior vice president at U.S. Trust, a banking unit of Charles Schwab Corp., and treasurer, CFO, and chief accounting officer since February 2004 of Excelsior Funds, 29 portfolios with an aggregate of $15 billion under management. She has nearly 20 years' experience in mutual fund treasury operations with companies including Reserve Management Corp. and Northstar Investment Management Corp.
Gamco Investors, which is based in Rye, N.Y., through its subsidiaries manages $27.6 billion of assets in private advisory accounts, mutual funds, closed-end funds, and partnerships and offshore funds.
