CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Bank of America Corp. has expanded its London-based high-yield desk through hires and internal transfers to bolster its investment banking activities in Europe.
David Lofts moved from the Charlotte banking company's New York offices to run high-yield sales in London. Joining him are Robb McGregor, in high-yield sales; Conor Davis, in high-yield trading; Peter Plaut, head of high-grade and high-yield research; Chris Mohler, in high-yield capital markets; and Dan Purser, senior high-yield research analyst.
The group reports to Mike Meyer and Fred Cohen, co-heads of Bank of America's global high-yield group, based in New York.
Bank of America said it has added more than 20 fixed-income staff members to its London operations in the last six months.
