Hub International Ltd. of Chicago said Thursday that it had bought Employee Benefit Specialists Inc.

Hub said the Denver benefits brokerage had about $2.2 million of revenue last year and that it will be added to Hub International Southwest.
The price was not disclosed. Hub Southwest president Roger Forystek said in a press release that the acquisition "expands the depth and breadth of our employee benefits practice throughout" Colorado.
Hub International is a leading North American insurance brokerage.
