WASHINGTON Under a new procurement deal with International Business Machines Corp., the American Bankers Association is offering members discounts on IBM products including laptops, desktop personal computers, and servers.
The relationship is part of a program the trade group started in September, when it added a special offers area to its Web site and began signing up companies to offer discount deals to bankers.
Offering our members discounts on IBM technology is yet another way ABA dues can pay dividends, said Donald G. Ogilvie, the groups executive vice president.
Jay Nalli, IBMs vice president of marketing for North America, small business, said his company is dedicated to bringing the power of technology and e-business to the banking community.
