Micro System Designs Inc. said it has enhanced the electronic wallet capabilities of its WebPasskey software to make Internet browsing and shopping easier.
The new version can analyze a Web merchant's payment form and determine the correct placement of name, address, telephone, credit card numbers, and electronic mail information. If WebPasskey misses any fields, the user simply clicks on them and enters the correct information.

The personal purchasing information is stored on the user's local hard disk, reducing the risk of theft or misuse, Micro System Designs said.
WebPasskey also automatically detects and stores password information for gaining access to various sites, obviating the need to hunt for logon information on subsequent visits. Optional features include password protection, automatic log-in, encrypted data files, multi-user support, password list printouts, and random password generation.

WebPasskey can be bought on the Internet for $29.
