Assets in U.S. exchange-traded funds rose 1.1% last month, to $422 billion, according to data released by State Street Global Advisors.
During the month 28 such funds were launched, bringing the total to 387, according to a monthly review released Tuesday by the Boston unit of State Street Corp.
Internationally, assets held in ETFs rose 2.8% from December, the review said. Average daily volume for all U.S.-listed ETFs increased 7%, to $31 billion.
