NEW YORK J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Continental Airlines have introduced two new cobranded cards aimed at the high end of the market, the companies said Thursday.
The Continental Airlines World MasterCard and Visa Signature Card differ from Chases existing Continental Airlines cards the World MasterCard and Classic Card in that the new premium products have no preset spending limits, the opportunity to earn double miles on the purchase of Continental Airlines tickets, and access to a global concierge service that is on call all the time to help cardholders with travel arrangements, restaurant recommendations, and ticket reservations. All four products give cardholders frequent flyer points on all their purchases.
The annual fees on the premium products are higher than on the other two, $65 versus $45. Existing Continental Airlines Platinum MasterCard and Platinum Visa Card from Chase customers can upgrade to the premium product, according to Chase.
