Principal Financial Group has announced an individual disability insurance association program to make the insurance more affordable for association members and employees of growing businesses.

The program will apply to the entire product portfolio, including disability income, overhead expense, and disability buyout, the company said on Wednesday. Through it, employees are allowed to buy discounted individual disability income insurance or to supplement existing coverage offered through their employers.
