TORONTO - Bank of Nova Scotia has joined e-route Inc. and will offer electronic bill presentment to its customers this fall.
Five other Canadian financial institutions - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Mouvement des Caisses Desjardins, National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, and Toronto-Dominion Bank - formed the e-route consortium to develop an integrated electronic bill payment and presentment service.
Scotiabank has $245 billion of assets and more than 1,700 branches and offices around the world.
