SAN FRANCISCO - United Guaranty Corp., the Greensboro, N.C., mortgage insurance unit of the American International Group Inc., has added a self-employment tax analysis program to its MI Guide online system.
The program, which was available on disk only, uses information from self-employed borrowers' tax returns to help lenders analyze the borrowers' income.
Tony Skipper, United Guaranty's vice president of e-business, said loan underwriting is hardest to do when working with these borrowers. This addition to MI Guide will make that job easier, he said.
