On Friday, Susquehanna, of Lititz, Pa., signed an agreement to move the headquarters of the $2.1 billion-asset Susquehanna Patriot Bank to Camden early next year, as soon as a four-story building under construction on the city's waterfront is completed.

The $7.5 billion-asset holding company created Susquehanna Patriot Bank in June, when it merged Equity Bank of Marlton, N.J., with Patriot Bank Corp. of Pottstown, Pa., which it had just acquired.

The bank is headquartered in Marlton. About 100 people will work in the new Camden headquarters. Susquehanna said it has not decided whether the headquarters would include a branch.
