Robert DeChellis has been hired to be the executive vice president of Travelers Life and Annuity's retail annuities division, responsible for expanding its distribution network.

Mr. DeChellis joins Travelers Life and Annuity in Hartford, Conn., from Jackson National Life Distributors Inc., where he was an executive vice president and national sales manager, Travelers said on Thursday.
Travelers Life and Annuity, which is owned by Citigroup Inc., sells individual annuities and life insurance products. It also is a significant provider of institutional annuities, including payout annuities and structured settlement annuities.
