Trustmark Corp. in Jackson, Miss., has bought the naming rights for a new, minor league baseball stadium that will be the home of the Class AA Mississippi Braves.
The $25 million complex, scheduled to open next month, will be called Trustmark Park. The $8.1 billion-asset company did not say how much it is paying for the naming rights but said it has a 15-year contract with the stadium.
The team, an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, moved to Mississippi from Greenville, S.C., in the off-season. Its first game in the 7,200-seat stadium is scheduled for April 18.
The stadium will also be used for concerts and other athletic events.
