American National Bank and Trust Co., a subsidiary of American National Bankshares Inc. in Danville, Va., has announced new leadership for its trust and brokerage activities as of Jan. 1.
Danny K. Wrenn was named a senior vice president and senior trust officer, succeeding E. Budge Kent Jr., an executive vice president and chief trust and investment officer, who will take the new post of senior adviser at the bank, it said on Dec. 21.
Mr. Wrenn has been a vice president and senior trust officer since joining the bank in February. Previously, he was a vice president and senior trust officer at RBC Centura, where he managed the personal trust area.
Mr. Kent is to remain a board member at the bank and its parent company.
American National's trust and investment services division manages more than $400 million of assets for trusts, estates, and retail brokerage customers.
