Wausau Insurance customers can now get automatic claim alerts by e-mail, along with electronic features available on myServices, Wausau's secure Internet site, the company said.

The ClaimAlerts feature notifies registered Wausau customers by e-mail when certain triggering claim events occur, the company said on Wednesday. Such events include claim open/closed/reopened, change in incurred and/or paid amounts above a user-defined threshold, and three different lag-time alerts.
The Wausau, Wis., insurer is a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Group.
