Wells Fargo & Co. said Monday that it has changed the name of its insurance brokerage arm.
Acordia Inc. and its affiliated companies have changed their name to Wells Fargo Insurance Services, the company said.
Wells Fargo, which bought the Chicago company in May 2001, said it made the change so customers would associate the insurance unit with the Wells Fargo brand.
