InterBold's Latin Affiliate Sells 627 ATMS to Mexican Banks
InterBold Inc. announced this week that its Latin American affiliate, Hidromex SA, had sold 627 automated teller machines to five of Mexico's largest financial institutions.
The value of the deal was not disclosed. The ATMs were manufactured by InterBold's parent, Diebold Inc.
The ATMs, called modular delivery systems, will be delivered to Bancomer, Banco Nacional de Mexico, Multibanco Comermex, Banco Internacional, and Banca Serfin for installation by the end of this year throughout Mexico.
Hidromex, in which Diebold holds an operating interest, is a leading manufacturer of physical security systems and supplier of ATMs for the Mexican financial marketplace. Hidromex also markets Diebold security products to Mexico's financial institutions.
