Janus Capital Group Inc. in Denver said it has hired Todd Bitzer to be a vice president and team leader of corporate, foundations, and endowments in the company's institutional group.
He is responsible for marketing Janus' managed strategies to corporations, foundations, and endowments in the Southeast. He reports to Dan Charles, a senior vice president and managing director of Janus Capital Group Institutional.
Mr. Bitzer was a managing director for Systematic Financial Management LP. Before that, he was a principal of business development for Turner Investment Partners from 1999 to 2001.
Janus had $160.5 billion of assets under management at Sept. 30.
