JPMorgan Private Bank promoted Rebecca Patterson to global head of foreign exchange.
Ms. Patterson will develop foreign exchange and commodity investment strategies for very wealthy clients, the JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit said last week. She will report to Anton Pil, the unit's global head of fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities.
Ms. Patterson joined the company in 1997 and has been a senior global foreign exchange strategist for its North America investment bank since December 2001.
She was named a managing director last year. In that role, she developed quantitative tools to help investors manage foreign exchange risks, in addition to formulating JPMorgan Chase's views on foreign exchange markets worldwide.
