Key Heritage Commerce Investors Convert to Common Stock

Two big investors in Heritage Commerce have converted some of their ownership in the San Jose, Calif., company to common stock.

The $2.4 billion-asset company said in a regulatory filing Tuesday that affiliates of Castle Creek Capital Partners and Patriot Financial Partners had held shares of its preferred stock since a June 2010 private placement.

Castle Creek now holds 9.9% of Heritage Commerce's outstanding common stock, while Patriot owns an 11.7% stake.
