LCNB in Ohio lines up next leader

LCNB in Lebanon, Ohio, will soon have a new leader.

The $1.6 billion-asset company said in a press release Thursday that Steve Foster will retire as its CEO on June 30.

Foster, 66, will be succeeded by Eric Meilstrup, who was named president and added to LCNB's board on Oct. 1. Meilstrup will retain those posts.

Foster, who worked at LCNB for 42 years, will remain on the board of both the holding company and the bank.

“The banking industry has seen significant change over the past decade," Spencer Cropper, LCNB's chairman, said in the release.

"Thanks to Steve’s leadership, we’ve been able to not just keep-up with the change, but also grow and expand our presence in the region," Cropper added.
