Maas Global Solutions Corp. has become the exclusive processor for Pride Payments Network LLC after making a "significant investment" in the merchant acquiring independent sales organization, the companies have announced.
Through the partnership, Maas Global is to be the processing engine behind Pride Payments' software-based, "virtual" point of sale terminal designed for small and midsize businesses, the companies said in a press release Feb. 5.
Merchants that sign on with Pride are to get such services as gateway connectivity compliant with Payment Card Industry data security and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards, immediate transaction reporting analytics and client relationship support staff.
Pride's founder and CEO is Doug Byerley, a former senior vice president at First Data Corp..
