Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield announced Wednesday that it has promoted Bob Casale, its deputy chief information officer, to senior vice president.
Mr. Casale, 41, reports to Michael Foley, MassMutual's chief information officer. Mr. Casale has worked for the company for 13 years and has been a corporate vice president since May 2007.
As deputy chief information officer, he runs its enterprise technology group, which is accountable for enterprisewide data, information security management, and overall governance of the information technology development process.
Before joining MassMutual in 1995, Mr. Casale was a senior programming analyst for Connecticut Online Computer Center Trust.
MassMutual Financial Group is a marketing name for Massachusetts Mutual Life. MassMutual, which had more than $500 billion of assets under management at the end of last year.
