Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield has hired Kimberly Grose as an assistant vice president in its U.S. insurance group's underwriting division.
Ms. Grose will lead and manage the south-central region of MassMutual's life insurance underwriting operations, including life underwriting policies and procedures, and individual risk assessment and selection, the company said.
She will report to Shelby Hollister, a vice president and chief life underwriter in its U.S. insurance group.
Ms. Grose, who has more than 15 years' of experience in the life underwriting business, had worked for Nationwide Financial for the past 10 years. Previously she worked for Aetna Life Insurance Co.
MassMutual and its subsidiaries had more than $500 billion of assets under management at the end of last year. It announced the hiring Thursday.
