MasterCard has launched a service designed to bolster wallet share of corporate clients with interests in Japan.
MasterCard Business Assist enables business and corporate cardholders to locate local companies that offer accounting, travel, human resources, information technology, sales and marketing.
MasterCard's corporate clients will receive preferential treatment when they contact the various companies offering services in Japan, which include telephone interpretation, office sharing opportunities, booking travel, handling corporate expenses and researching overseas expansion.
During a promotional period, MasterCard will provide its corporate customers in Japan with special offers previously limited to premium cardholders, including its Gold Travel service and Taste of Premium offers.
More business partners will join the Business Assist platform over time, expanding the services provided, MasterCard said in a Feb. 17 press release.
