Spectrem Group has reported that its Spectrem Millionaire Investor Index fell 1 point in April to minus-14, dropping below the affluent index's measure of investor outlook for the first time since its inception in February 2004.

The decline in the millionaire index extended the record low set in March, Spectrem said Wednesday. Since June, the index has fallen 34 points.
Meanwhile, the Spectrem Affluent Investor Index, for households with $500,000 or more of investable assets, rose 7 points in April, to minus-13, after a March decline.
