TSYS, the outsourced payments services processor and Synovus spinoff, continues its international momentum with a deal to process credit cards for Mexico issuer Global Card. TSYS has provided services in the Mexican card market for 15 years, this deal involves a full suite of account processing services, risk management, portfolio management and reporting tools to help Global Card launch its Visa and private-label consumer credit cards for the unbanked market. The deal follows a first-quarter deal with Standard Bank of South Africa for card issuing and merchant acquisition activities across the African continent.

Financial terms with Global Card were not disclosed.
