Mountain Commerce in Tenn. Adds Ex-Community Banker to Board

Mountain Commerce Bancorp in Knoxville, Tenn., has added a former California community bank executive to its board.

Mark Ruh was appointed a director of the $516 million-asset Mountain Commerce last week, according to a news release. Mountain Commerce expanded its board by one seat to add Ruh.

Ruh is a managing director at Commerce Street Investment Management in Dallas. Previously he was chief financial officer at Mission Community Bancorp in San Luis Obispo, Calif., which was acquired in 2014 by Heritage Oaks Bancorp in Paso Robles, Calif.

Mountain Commerce operates five branches in Knoxville, Johnson City, Erwin and Unicoi, Tenn.
