NationsBank picks agency for Hispanic ads.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- NationsBank has selected Houstonbased Lopez Negrete Communications to handle its Hispanic marketing and advertising efforts systemwide.

NationsBank said it serves 40 percent of the nation's 10 largest Hispanic markets and 60 percent of the 50 fastest-growing Hispanic areas.

"One of the greatest challenges NationsBank faces is marketing its services to many different cultures represented within the Hispanic community, all of which have origins traced to Spanish-speaking countries," said David S. Carter, director of Advertising Management for NationsBank.

Lopez Negrete Communications is a full-service marketing and advertising agency with capitalized billings expected to exceed $5 million in 1993.
