Natixis Global Asset Management LP, a Boston unit of Natixis Global Asset Management of Paris, announced Wednesday that it has hired Paul C. Anderson as vice president of its institutional services division.
The wealth manager's institutional services division was consolidated this year to serve both institutional clients and investment consultants.
The group provides access to investment options available through Natixis Global Asset Management's multiboutique structure.
It will offer traditional equity and fixed-income investment products as well as alternative investments, such as hedged equity portfolios and alpha generation strategies.
The group will focus on serving retirement platforms, subadvisers, defined benefit plans, endowments, and foundations and corporate plans.
Mr. Anderson was a vice president of institutional sales for Columbia Asset Management, the investment management arm of Bank of America Corp.
The Paris Natixis, which had $910 billion of assets under management on March 31, is a unit of the investment and projects bank of the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Epargne groups, also of Paris.
Natixis has a network of investment management firms and distribution and services groups that are located in Europe and the United States.
