Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. has hired Chad South as a director and head of U.S. clean products trading in the commodities business within its global markets division.

In the newly created position, Mr. South will focus on diesel and gasoline trading.
He will be based in New York and report to John Redpath, Deutsche Bank's managing director and global head of oil and agricultural trading, the company said Tuesday.
Deutsche Bank, Mr. South was an executive director and refined-products trader for UBS AG. Previously he was a trader of clean refined products at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Mr. South has worked at several energy companies, including British Petroleum.
