Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. has realigned its life operations into four market groups.
John C. Walters, the president and chief operating officer of Hartford Life, will continue to oversee that business and its four new market groups: individual, employer, institutional, and international.
Mr. Walters also will lead a newly combined team that will oversee technology and services for the Simsbury, Conn., parent company's distributors and customers.
Previously, Hartford Life had two product-focused groups: U.S. wealth management and international wealth management and group benefits.
Hartford Life's assets under management rose 10% from a year earlier, to $370 billion as of March 31.
The new structure was announced last week.
